Plasmid Core

Overview of Services

Plasmids are the single most rate limiting reagent for the production of rAAV vectors. The Plasmid Core is a full service facility assisting with the design and cloning of AAV expression cassettes for optimum level of expression to large scale production of research grade plasmids for the use in preclinical as well as IND enabling toxicology grade production and GMP production. The core supports the production of plasmid DNA at a variety of scales ranging from small scale (100mgs) to large scale productions (500mg) to support preclinical toxicology studies and GMP production. All DNA plasmids have passed rigorous quality control standards.
